February 02, 2012 – Azhar & Azhar Law Firm Secures Asylum Based on Religious Persecution

On February 02, 2012 Azhar & Azhar Law Firm secured asylum for our client based on religious persecution he suffered in his home country.  Our client fled to the United States in 2011 and sought the assistance of Azhar & Azhar Law Firm to advance his asylum claim with USCIS. 

The attorneys at Azhar & Azhar Law Firm completed his I-589 application, affidavit, and provided State Department reports outlining the terrible country conditions in our client’s home country.  An attorney from Azhar & Azhar Law Firm appeared with our client during his interview at the Houston Asylum Office. On February 02, 2012, we learned that our client’s application for asylum had been approved by USCIS.  Our client will apply for permanent residency next year, and begin his new life in the United States.
